I suppose that i shouldn't look a gift horse in the mouth, but i applied for and was approved for an Amex Platinum Business card 9-2012 and to date i have not seen a hard or soft pull form Amex on my Eq and Exp credit file. They were offering 100k points after 3 months and 3 k in spending. Too good a deal to pass up!
Up to September of 2012 i had about 6 soft pulls from Amex but nothing since then. I have read that amex likes to soft pull every month so i was curious if it had anything to do with being a business card? I supplied my company with # along with my ssn during the application process.
Are you checking all 3 bureaus? Amex usually uses experian for hard pulls, but softs all 3 intermittently. They always soft TU for me, but then hard pull experian after approval.
In wallet: Ink Plus 10k, AMEX TE 25k. In bag: CSP 16k, USAA WMC 15k, Hyatt 13k, United MPE 12k, AMEX HHonors 3k. In SD: Cap 1 QS 5k, Discover IT 7k. FICO 08 says my EQ is now 844, was 510 in 2010.

ALL of my AMEX pulls, both hard and soft, have been EX.
Hi, yes, im checking all three and there are a few softs before September of 2012 but nothing (not even a hard to oprn the account) since then. again, im not worried about it but i did think that it was strange...
