I did a search and found several people that have their Nordstrom Visa cards at $25K---Does anyone here have a Nordstrom STORE card with the limit that high...or even knows if it can go that high?
I was hoping someone would respond as I was curious.
I am wondering if most of the people here all have the Visa version?
A friend of a friend has a plain old Nordstrom store card with a $150k CL. No joke. I have the Visa at 15k. But he's apparently an heir to some family fortune. I'm sure income verification was involved at some point.

The store card card, from the past that I know of (pre-TD Bank), can go literally go to the moon, and some card holders had no limit (my cousin was one of them), but those folks also spent thousands upon thousands too. The store cards can go as high as you want or need them too.
Having a $25k store card is nothing, if your spend their deems you to have a limit that high. Unlike Macy's or Blooms, where you can just keep requesting, Nords is a relationship store, and keeps track of all your Nordstrom store charges.
My statements every month remind me of my store purchases, and my level ( 4...cough), LOL
Nordies before TD would give you whatever you wanted provided your relationship was worth it. It was very much a mutual love situation and Nordies is still very much like that. TD on the other hand doesn't give two craps.
I'm consistently Level 2. All I really buy there is David Donahue dress shirts, David Yurman jewellery, and Clinique (guys buy it too). What the hell are you buying Pizza that pushes you into level 4? I use a personal tailor for suits, so other than that I'd have to really try to spend into level 4.
I have the store card, it's currently at $9k. I wish I had gotten on the PC train to the Visa prior to them stopping that. I would love the Visa and the benefits it has, but I refuse to open another credit card...which is a bummer!

Me too. And I called and talked to a CSR this evening who told me if I app for the Visa and get approved--they will let you have both store and Visa versions--just like Macy's now with the store and AMEX versions. I'm going to keep my store card for another year and try to grow it as high as possible and by that time if there's no offer to PC to a Visa, I'll go ahead and apply for it.
