From the article/edit:
"Comes with 50,000 points signup bonus on $3,000 spend within 120 days. No need to be U.S. Bank customer to be able to apply."
You're not supposed to prop the Garden gate open, yannow.
Making me tempt fate when I'm only nearing 0/6.
I had a lingering fraud alert on my EX credit file (should have been removed last month) so I bit the bullet and called... it's supposed to be removed from all their systems within 24-72 hours.
I should be good-to-go by the 10th, in theory, anyway... 🤔
Truthfully I would rather test things out with another bank, but there's still nearly a week to think about it. In any case it's not like I simply must app on the day it comes out, LOL.

Right, apping on the day of issue isn't a legal requirement, you always have the option to be a sad loser!

I know, right?
P.S. For those keeping track at home, I just got an email notification from Experian that the fraud alert has, indeed, been removed (and my online credit report refreshed and reflects the same). I now feel a bit better if I should feel inclined to consider "hitting the button" on or after the 10th.
