Number for Amex please

I need to AUTOMATED number for Amex... does anyone have it. I don't want to talk to the reps because it's more frustrating than I can deal with.

I think each brand of amex card has their own number. Which card number are you looking for?

I wish I could tell you, but I don't know. I've been diligently repairing my credit. I log on to EQ a few weeks ago and see an AMEX acccount on my credit. I disputed with EQ and it came back verified. I called AMEX and couldn't get anyone to help me because I didn't know the card number. I asked several reps to look up the info based on my SS#, but they gave me some lame excuse about how they had to protect the clients identity.

Last night I managed to get into contact with a supervisor and they she did look up the information based on my SS but I couldn't verify any other info so she couldn't help me further. She said that I could get the info from the automated system and call back and give it to her, but she wasn't allowed to give the number out. I called AMEX and this morning trying to explain my situation and no one will help me. I filled a police report and sent it off.

Hopefully they will remove it even though it's in a positive status, it's just not my card.
