Old Navy Card

I was shopping at Old Navy online the other night and I have (mostly unsuccessfully) being apping quite a bit over the last week or so because we only have one card (Orchard) and I really feel we need to have more in the mix to get over 700.  I love shopping there, so I checked the credit pulls database, saw that it pulls EQ (by far our highest score) and immediately applied for their store card too.

It did its thing online, then said we were approved "provisionally" for $150 and gave a code and a "virtual card" that you could print out to use when shopping in the meantime before getting the physical card.  Stupid me, I closed out the window without printing it - figured I would get an email.  Don't even know if it was the store card or the visa - though I'm assuming the store card.

Then I saw the next day that they had pulled TU.  Because of an old, old collection (due to fall off - drop off date given on report is 10/09) that is somehow reporting on TU only as an open revolving account our TU is 558 (it is the only baddie and I'm expecting a huge hike once this drops) - our EQ is 681.

*Then* I read how difficult it is to get the Old Navy card, that they use GEMB (and we were turned down for Sears and Walmart in the last year, same bank).  That they only take scores in the high 600s.

And now this has been 3 days since the approval and nothing - no email confirmation at all, and there's no way to check the status on their site.

Maybe I'm being silly - but could it have been a mistake?  Or could they change their minds?

I was so happy to get it, even with the tiny limit, as revolving credit is what is missing on our reports now.
