Ollo Optimum finally came in the mail.
Literally the slowest delivery of a credit card, took 9 days. And it has no NFC ![]()
I'm a little disappointed that their "flagship" invite only cash back card doesn't have NFC lol

I'm not surprised. The flagship product of a subprime lender is still gonna be subprime, after all.
What I'd be more interested in is, does the Optimum remove the payment frequency restriction that other Ollo cards have? My vanilla Ollo is limited to 5 payments in a 30-day period.

I'm not sure on the payment frequency, I read over the agreements and it doesn't mention anything about it. I'd guess it's the same.
I think it's interesting that my only "no foreign transaction fee" cards are from sub-prime lenders. That was one of the selling points for me plus the 2.5% cash back on everything

What makes Ollo subprime?
Also, to get around any "pull" payment restrictions using their website/app, you can simply "push" a payment from your bank's bill pay service wherever you normally make payments from. Just make sure to account for the appropriate delivery window of the payment (usually takes 2-3 days to appear).
If my AOD gets axed, I'd love to have the Ollo! :jealous:
Theres always Google/Samsung Pay. Which I abuse.

Ollo is a credit card issuer that specializes in offering cards to people with below-average credit. Like other issuers, Ollo specializes in providing credit card offers for fair credit scores. Currently, Ollo offers two credit cards, the Platinum Card, and the Rewards Card. Ollo credit cards are only available upon receiving a prequalified offer.
Ollo is a financial services joint venture by former executives from Bank of America and Capital One. Ollo is not a bank, as it does not offer other services, such as checking or savings accounts, CDs, or other products. Instead, Ollo is simply a credit card issuer, targeting those with “subprime” credit scores.
Ollo credit cards are issued through the Bank of Missouri. Bank of Missouri issues several credit cards for building credit, including the Ollo Platinum Mastercard and Ollo Rewards Mastercard. Other prominent cards from the bank include the Milestone Gold Card, the Fortiva Card, and the First Access Solid Black Visa.

Is Ollo a Bank or a Credit Card Company?

I wonder if they'll still consider themselves subprime after the Ally acquisition is finalized.
I love my Ollo card. It's been great for rebuilding credit. My inital CL was $2k and received a $1,900 CL increase at the 6 month. Hoping I will get another in June when I hit the 1 year mark. Had no clue about the 5 payment per 30 day rule. I think the most I've made are maybe 2 or 3. Something to keep in mind.
I like my Ollo card as well. When I was rebuilding credit, it was nice to have that invitation card. It started off at $500 and now it's at 2100 which is decent. It's been stuck at 2100 for about two years though, so I'm not sure how much further it will go. I thought I heard that the ollo card was maxed out at around 3000.
