On average how long did it take for Discover to increase your limit automatically?

Hello,

I was just approved for Discover 1500.00 credit line and I was wondering how long did it take for them to give you an automatic CLI? I will be using to pay bills and pay off every month. Thanks for your input and take care.

For what it's worth I've never received an auto CLI from Discover.  Of the (3) $500 increases, I've had to initiate myself..and those were few and far between.  Now that Discover Deals are gone I don't even bother with their card anymore beside occasional spend for activity purposes.

Aha! I have read a mix. I appreciate your response. May I ask what card you like the most and why? Maybe thats to general of a question. Just curious. Thanks again!

IIRC, the first automatic one can occur @ 3 months.  Doesn't mean it'll happen though.  I happened to get lucky and get one.

You can request an increase at 91/3  91 days after opening & 3 statements cut.

Mine was increased automatically after 5 months I believe. Ever since then I’ve gotten every CLI I’ve requested. Discover has been good to me.
