Only Chase preapprovals are business cards...why?

I was playing around with the CLI option in the Chase app (no love there) and happened to check my preapprovals while I was there. The only products that come back are four different business cards. Does anyone know why the only offers extended would be for business, rather than having personal cards on the list?

I guess my question would be better put as "has anyone else experienced this when you're not a business owner?" I currently have three personal cards with Chase - Disney, CSP and CFU, that's it.

I am trying to figure out why Chase thinks I could or should have a business card when I do not have a business and would therefore not qualify for those products (at least that's my understanding, perhaps I'm wrong on that).

Yes. Same thing happened to me, a non-business-owner, several months ago. I didn't bite, but the one that gets 5% back at office supply stores was pretty tempting.

Thank you, I feel much better knowing it's not just me. I was wondering if somewhere in my profile with Chase there was something mis-checked that was making them think business cards were a possiblity, but maybe it's just what they do when there are no pre-qual on personal cards (as in, maybe I'm maxed out with them).

Tbh I think it's merely a marketing thing. Sometimes they  have a fluke and send it to a non-business owner.  I did have a Chase Ink pre-approval last year and took it. What I love about their business cards is that they don't report to personal... Amex either.

I haven't had a personal card with a preapproval in quite a while, at least 1.5 years. However, it feels like the full slate of business cards have been on the menu that entire time. The reason I haven't taken advantage of any is I do not have a business and have no plans to at this time, which I believe means I'm not qualified for those cards.
