Orchard Reporting Question/Clarification

OK I got my Orchard Secured card on March 11th.
I've read tons of older posts about them not reporting new accounts for 2-3 months, and lots of posts about various timing issues.

My statement is posted on the 20th and payment is due on the 14th.  I'm afraid that if I PIF before they report that they just won't report it, until I let it carry a balance for them to post.  So I have 2 questions:

1.  Do they still take this long to report for new cards?
2.  If so:  Timothy's posted over and over HSBC/Orchard reports on the last weekday of the month, which would be Friday March 28th so would my chances of them reporting be better if I wait until the first week of April (maybe even wait until Monday the 7th) to make a payment so there'd be a balance to report?

Thanks again!

Re: Orchard Reporting Question/Clarification

The HSBC I got last year began reporting to the CRAs before  I even had the card in hand, so no probs in my experience.

If you have activity- that is all you need to do to make them report.

Re: Orchard Reporting Question/Clarification

That's pretty much what I figured, I'll let it sit past the end of the month with the $10 balance, then pay it in early April.

And that's how my BofA card was Anderson, it made me happy haha

Thanks Smiley Happy
