Well, since your currently a member you could app for green and if denied it would be a sp. Or you can wait until znyc turns 13mo. Do you plan on traveling? MR points are really only different than MRE points because they can be transfered to FF/FG accounts.
Yeah, I just really don't want an inq (assuming it's approved). I think I'll just wait it out. Also, I want to get a BCE, so maybe I'll do both apps together next year. ![]()
Not sure if I remember correctly or not but wouldnt that be 2 inq due to 1 being a charge product and the other credit?
That seems like a YMMV thing. Some people report 1 and others report 2. But you're right: I always go in knowing I could get the HP and then am relieved if I don't.
Good plan. Best of luck!
AMEX told me you cant change from a ZYNC

Maybe they meant 'right now' you cant change do to only having the card a month?
@bichonmom wrote:The Zync rewards aren't what I thought they'd be, so I am thinking about PC-ing at my 1-yr anniversary. I have a couple of questions:
#1, Do they do a HP when you PC from one charge to another?
#2, Normally, they waive the AF for the first year. When you PC, would the first year's AF for the new card be waived? Or do they consider that a continuation of your previous card and charge the AF?
Thanks!
The better question is why do you want to PC a Zync card, better to just app for a second card the one of your choice and gain with backdating especially if you do it in the early part of the year, most rebuilders would gladly pay $25 for an extra year of of AAoA credit.
Good point. I'm just thinking about the number of Amex cards I would end up with, and having to keep them active, etc. Also, I'm concerned about how Amex reacts to one person having so many of their CCs. I would have 4 Amex (2 charges and 2 revolvers), which seems like a lot to me. But yeah, for the AAoA, it would be great! ![]()
