Quicksilver was my first card almost 3 years ago, but I rarely use it anymore. Almost everything goes on my BCP or Savor at this point. So, rather than close it, I thought I'd dip my toes into the miles world and PC it to a VentureOne card. No AF and I'm not losing that much (1.25x miles vs 1.5% cash back) and I'll get to see if using miles is beneficial. I'll still keep primarily spending on Savor and use the option to convert the cash to miles if a deal arises. So, 3x miles essentially with Savor.

A good move, IMO. It's one of the only no AF setups that earn transferable points currency. BILT is the only other one I can think of.
You're really not going to swipe either the QS or the V1 much, except to keep the card alive. So the 1.25 vs 1.5 isn't meaningful.
Edit: I already see the V1 in your signature, so I'm thinking you already pulled the trigger.
Did you get any miles deal? Spend $x.xx in 3 months get xxxxx miles?

No, it was a PC, not a new card. Pretty sure Capital One only offers SUBs on new cards.
