I just recieved my card today and when I picked the QS1 I didn't look at all the info close enough....I would really like to switch to the No annual fee and lower interest rate card. Is it possible now since i just got my card?

I don't know, but on the website, the regular Quicksilver is labeled as being for excellent credit.

Many people (myself included) have been able to PC from a QS1 to a QS, but you'll keep the same APR... Capital One never budges on the APR unless you go to the EO, and that's anything but guaranteed. Further, the (very few) times I've read of EO reductions there is usually substantial history to justify it.
I'm sorry I don't have better news.
Cap1 wouldn't PC my QS1 to QS even though they got a lot of swipes out of me. I went to Find My Card and was pre-approved for the QS. Apped and got 10k. I'll get stuck paying the QS1 AF in April, but as soon as the QS is 6 months old I'll combine them.

HeavyJay, once the annual fee posts to your bill do the online chat and ask them to remove it. 9 out of 10 times they will remove it for you. I've even received a credit for it after paying it.
I didn't know that. Thanks!
OP, I was successful in PC'ing my QS1 to the regular QS after the third statement. It may have been available before then. This served to remove the annual fee. But everything else stayed the same. Once my original card hits 6 months, I will probably apply for either a QS or Venture/Venture 1 with the bonus, better rates, etc. Then when the new card hits six months, I will combine the two and close the original card.
