If i join Penfed, will they use that same inquiry to

check if im eligible for a CC or will they run a second

Yes they will use the same 1 and up to 90 days for any credit product.

+1. That's how it worked for me, one pull for membership and same pull for credit card.

so pessimistic lol but yea they're very inquiry sensitive so I wouldn't apply if you have more than 1 inquiry in the last 6-12 months lol

I applied today and got Instant Approval for $20,000 and I had a lot of inquiries. Well, to be honest I believe the FICO scoring model counts the number of inquiries within the last 12 months, of which mine was 7. Last 2 years though, the number is now 18 :-)...10 of them mortgage, and 4 auto finance related. FICO scores are EQ: 752 TU: 759 EX: 752
