So I've been paying down my debt, and all of my credit card debt is now on either 0% APR periods or my lowest APR card, my PNC Core Visa. Recently got a CLI on my Core Visa from $6,500 to $11,000 and have just been paying that down. Picture my surprise when I opened my mail and saw convenience checks from PNC staring at me! Three checks whose 0% APR offer expires on 5/31/22, with a 0% APR period ending 6/30/23.
I think I might go ahead and take advantage of them to get an extra 6 months or so of 0% APR on the cards I opened last November. Seems interesting that they'd offer me convenience checks when I still have a balance on the PNC card though.
Edit: Even though these are convenience checks, looks like PNC will deny your check if you make it out to an individual, so you can't just deposit it in your bank account and use it as a loan, unlike with some creditors.
Since you have existing debt on that same card I suggest you be sure you fully understand what if any impact having existing standard APR debt in conjunction with a newly added 0% BT debt will have. That includes but isn't limited to how payments made to the card will be assigned against each of the debt types.

Yea, fortunately they do a good job explaining that in the FAQ sent with the checks.
