I made a mistake when I paid my PRG balance by $0.40. Do I need to make another payment of $0.40? Don't want the card to be considered late.

I would just to be safe.

Do you really NEED to.... No..... I believe you can technically wait until your next statement cut date to pay. Just next time you make a few charges, you could pay them and not have to worry about the 40 cents.
I would pay it.
PAY IT

The short answer is yes, you really should.
Since the account terms are PIF each month, if you're short by even 1¢ their computer will remember it. It's likely they wouldn't shut you down for 40¢, but it's so easy to correct I simply wouldn't take the chance.
Maybe you should do a balance transfer? haha all jokes aside I agree and it should be paid especially for such a small abount not worth the risk.
How about jumping on Amex chat and aks an agent how they treat this for the charge vs revolver?
We pretty much know the answer and yeah.. most would just pay it but it might help you knowing what would happen *if* this happens inthe future.
I shorted a payment on an account on purpose to force a $1 to report and it was *waived* and blew apart my experiment.
