PayPal Smart Connect and Amazon Store Card...

Hello all and Happy New Year,

Is there any chance or way that the PayPal Smart Connect and/or Amazon Store Card be "upgraded" to the CC versions? These two TL are growing CL-wise, but would prefer the flexibility of the CC. SP's are a must, of course...lol...Smiley Wink! Thank you as always for your comments.

IIRC, the PayPal Smart Connect account is rarely offered as an upgrade (by invitation only) for the PayPal Extras MC.  If you want to take your chances for the PayPal Extras MC, you would need to close the PPSC account and then apply again.  The chances for getting approved for the dual card version would depend on your creditworthiness of course.  If your file has improved over time and scores are north of ~700, then you could have a decent chance.

The Amazon store card does not have a dual version from GECRB.  The Amazon Rewards Visa is offered by Chase.

I dont want to say the paypal smart connect is a bad card but its kinda confusing. Think about it for a min. I add the debit card which gets me 1% back on everything which is a mastercard, but if i use the line of credit which the smart connect is, I dont get any rewards. I can also get a paypal card not a mastercard and use it in home depot and a couple of other places and get no rewards again. Mind you I apped for the paypal mastercard lol. They should do two credit card versions it would make a lot more sense. Oh and to make matters worse when I got approved for the card I thought I got the mastercard verison (did my happy dance) then read the rest of the screen ugh lol. But that sucks that they really wont convert the card.
