Does anybody know the rhyme or reason on how Synchrony chooses how to give out the physical card? Can it be product changed? I was targeted when they first announced but P2 is not able to get the card.

tons of confusion about this product, really makes it easy to make mistakes
the paypal credit product does not PC to the mastercard, it's the same PayPal Credit product
there is a paypal credit product (which has a paypal credit card add-on, but this does not change what the product is)
according to synchrony, it looks like it's up to them if you get access to the physical paypal credit card add-on for the PayPal Credit product based on credit history. It would stand to reason that it's basically synchrony discretion if any current PayPal Credit lines were given the add-on paypal credit card to use for the PayPal Credit line.
if you want the PayPal Cashback Mastercard, that is an entirely different product, it earns 3% back on paypal, great card, love it.

@BankDealer on the paypal site they say:
"One application. Two possibilities.
Apply and get a credit decision in seconds. If approved, you'll get either the PayPal Credit Card or a PayPal Credit digital line. There's no impact to your credit score if declined."
note ..either
I did get a "Paypal Credit Card" what they call the paypal credit 'card' but IIRC they also said I may or may (their choice) not get it somewhere among the notice..
Maybe it's related to how much credit line the person has/had on their paypal credit acount? ..and also perhaps excluded accounts which they plan[ed] to reduce credit lines.
