PenFed Fico Score Updated 8/13

Signed into the PenFed app this morning to see my Fico score update from original date 7/9 to 8/13. Score update from 715 to 732 still now offers for me though. Have had my cash reward card now almost a year. Anyone get new offers ?

Penfed has been really lagging lately with scores. I have never gotten offers but did cold app after 1.4 years of having cards, got increase and new card. I was tired of waiting for offers.

At least my year old score still sits at 790. I do have a lovely offer for Turbo Tax Pendread Positive thinking

Got the max 10k over a year ago it has not budged. I don’t care that much anymore. If they want to raise it cool if not I have moved on I still use the cards but not nearly as much as I used too. Oh well.

I didn't get my first offer until at least 1.5+yrs after getting my PCR. I then had a second offer just after the 2 yr mark. I use my PCR for auto pay on my utility bills and car insurance and constantly PIF before statement date. My PF score is now 822 and My CL journey looked like this $.14.5k-$29.2K-$50k and went from 14.5% to 11.9%. So don't be discouraged. It's out there - YMMV

you are one of the lucky ones that get pre-quals many of us have been with penfed alot longer and no offers and very good scores and good incomes and all that..  How they pick who gets offers is anyones guess.. I have had them as my primary FI for years and no pre-quals.. 780-800ish score depending and 6 figure income and nothing..  Been with them 4-5 years no as primary FI bank.. Granted anything I apply for I get approved whether car, PL or cards, but be nice to see one of those dang pre-approvals

Lol, if you got a 50k limit, that implies you have the income Kinda hard for runts like me not to get discouraged.....but alas i dont care about PF anymore, too many other lenders out there
