Penfed Plat Rewards Point increase AGAIN?

Looks like the points required for many rewards have increased again. I've been using up my balance, and two weeks ago on one card I was able to get a $25 TJ Maxx card for 2,500 points (the best 1:1 I could find). Now it looks like nearly all $25 cards are 3,000 points, except for a handful of hot deals that are 2,900.

Prepaid Visas haven't increased, but those are more points than I am willing to keep using the card for, as the levels might change again...

Ya I have...had the Penfed cash reward, they're slashing everyday awards away altogether next month. Penfed must be hurting.slashing rewards everywhere.

Don't think it is slashing rewards as cleaning gift cards up so they all have same point value.

Varies by account holder. Some have been notified that they will be reduced to 3% on gas without a qualifying product. I've only received notice that I'll lose the 0.25% so far.

There seems to have been a fair bit of backlash as PenFed has changed terms slightly. They recently added MM savings to the qualifying products list.
