Does anyone know if the you can receive approved for offers in app with just having a savings account? I wanted to open a checking but didn't want the hard pull. Just wondering if the quarterly offers pop up in the app for people with savings accounts only?
Thanks

That is not my experience, I have seen offers with only a savings account (never took them up as none of their cards are better than what I have).

Yes, offers can generate with a savings account. You do not need to have a credit product to receive them if your account becomes eligible for them at some point.
I have whooping $5.00 in savings and I had two card offers, but they took yellow one away and left me with one of the blue ones
Last quarter, I cannot remember i it was yellow or blue.
I opened up a checking account
with penfed in November and there was no hard pull on my credit report. I did it because their checking account provides me my Fico 9 Equifax score.
Great. So they do give offers via the app with just a savings. Thanks
Do they say pre-approved or something? Cause I'm not falling for that one again.

Mine says that I'm approved, not pre-approved, though that's probably only if no significant changes on CR from the time SP on which they based approval to the application and HP itself.
Also, my $5.00 are growing nicely. 25 more years and I'll get me coffee at 7/11 on Penfed
