Plain Gold card offers really nothing special over a Green except a higher AF and a different color. PRG though, if you have non-trivial spend (think something like 30-35K was optimal) is an excellent card if MR is your deal. Business Gold has recently been pushed for some period of time, I keep getting the 75K for 5K offers somewhat regularly and the 3% pick your benefit is truly excellent if you have a bunch of spend in a category that isn't covered elsewhere.
Admittedly new Simply Cash Plus might scavenge those users who aren't travelling much to leverage MR, like me.
