Possible double dip Capital One and Paypal Key?

I have read that Capital One credit cards can be paid by debit card if you call to make a payment. Here is a possible play to double dip:

  1. Take another credit card and attach it to Paypal Key. This other credit card should be a rewards card. I prefer  cash back myself.
  2. Call Capital One to make your Capital One credit card payment. Use PayPal Key to make your payment on your Capital One credit card.
  3. Earn rewards on the Paypal Key  credit card.

Would a Myficor with both a Capital One rewards card and Paypal key being willing to try this and report back here whether it succeeded or not.

I would test this myself; but I don't have a Capital One credit card.

Correct.

I'll squeeze it in between reading "How's this a cash advance???This is not cash advance", "Cap One closed my account for no reason", and "Class action lawsuit, why they allow it if they don't allow it!!!!ENRAGED!!!!! threads

It's like spending, only... manufactured.   Interesting.  Would probably work best using an American Express card for payment, though.  They love rewards abuse.

(Normally discussions of MS methods are prohibited and removed here, but this absolutely positively has no chance of faring better than getting the PayPal debit card and hitting up the ATM.)
