Prepping for some applications

Hey everyone,

it's that time of year for me again for some CLI's and new applications.

Scores:

EX: 662

EQ: 656

TU: 649 (Last Barclay statement balance hasn't made it to TU yet, should raise once it does)

Inq in last 6 months:

EX: 5 (1/16/15, 1/21/15, 2/2/15, 5/11/15(fraud, couldn't get it removed) 11/27/15)

EQ: 3 (1/16/15, 2/2/15. 5/14/15)

TU: 2 (1/16/15 x2)

All reports have 4 repo/charge-off TL's and 2 collections, all 5+ years old (one auto, 2 installment, one CC (First Premier).  No other negatives.\

13% ute (except TU, see above), total revolving CL ~$15k

AAoA 4Y 2M

Oldest account: 10Y 3M

All current accounts/limits in sig, except student loans (Deferred, still in school)

I'd like to get as many soft pull CLI's as I can, so I'm going to start with calling Synchrony for Amazon, Wal-Mart, and HHGregg.  Going to at least wait on TU to update ute before calling Barclay for APR reduction to see if there are any soft/no pull offers.  No luck recently on Comenity Luv button, but may try if I app for another comenity card.

Goals:

Increase current credit limts

I'd like to open a few more major CC's:

Citi AAdvantage Platinum Select (AA flies out of my local airport)

Hotel rewards card (Possibly Wyndham and/or Chase IHG?)

If I can get a good general rewards card I may transfer my CL from Barclay Rewards to my Aviator Silver WEMC, similar if I apply/get the Wyndham I'll try and transfer the NFL CL over to it, I have no use for this card over the add'l CL for ute and the $100 initial spend bonus.

Not certain what else yet.  I keep getting Cap One preapproval offers, but last time I accepted one it was only a $500 initial CL with no possiblity of a CLI, so I'm likley going to continue ignoring those.

Starting Scores (12/2012):EX 506; EQ 511; TU 518 | Current Scores (01/2016):EX 662; EQ 656; TU 653

I think it's premature for you to be adding new cards at this point, but if I were going to add one, I'd stop ignoring the Capital One prequal's and go with one of those.
