Query regarding due date and statement generation date

My Chase card used to have statement generation date as 2nd of each month and due date as 27th of each month.

Yesterday, i requested to change the due date to 16th of each month. Will my statement generation date change now instead of tomorrow?

Re: Query regarding due date and statement generation date

Change of Due dates usually takes a few months before they go into effect. For me they have been extended periods, so, for example, your first new due date will have a statement with transactions from the 2nd Oct to the19th of Nov, with a due date of the 16th of December.

You should have a normal due date of Oct 27th for transactions from Sept 2nd to Oct 1st.

I'd call to confirm, but my Chase due date change was immediate. And I think the statement date will fall three days after the due date.

In contrast, my Capital One due date changes took about two statement cycles.
