Question About Inquiries

I just read somewhere that credit card inquiries are removed once the credit card starts reporting.  Is this true? 

I'm curious about this because I have 3 inquiries listed but the credit cards are also reporting as well.

All comments and advice is welcomed and greatly appreciated.

never heard of that.

generally they stay on your report for 2 years, but sometimes they drop off early.

also, they only count against your score for 1 year.

I agree with laz that this is the first time I've ever heard such a thing. You say you just read this? May I ask where?
