OK, so when you hit "request increase" on any card[s] you have in the Chase app, they will only show you cards that are actually eligible for a CLI.
So for example if you have the CSP, CFF, CFU, and Ink Preferred, you want a CLI on the CFU, hit the button, but they only show you the CFF and CIP, then the CFU isn't eligible for a CLI at that time.
OK, pretty clear.
My question is, if they show you one or more cards that are currenttly eligible for a CLI, what is the consensus here as to the odds you will actually be approved for a CLI - rock solid, 50-50, or a crap shoot?
Asked a different way, all else being equal - no lates, no high balances, no new accounts/inquiries, no decrease in scores - why would they show you card[s] that are eligilbe if they weren't likely to approve you?

boring answer: probably fraud related reasons
more fun answer: if they wanted to show you, they could and they would. they already show pre-approved credit line amounts for the right profiles with their green star pre-approvals.
you can pretty much figure out your odds:
are you over 5/24? if you are, assume 100% denial.
what is your current TCL with chase? how close is it to 50% of your reported income?
is your reported income over like $100k? you'll probably hit a barrier before reaching like $50k unsecured, so you'll need meaningful spend to justify TCL of like more than $20-30k with chase before you get more?

I too have read posts here and elsewhere about Chase now only approving CLIs if you are under 5/24.
But [1] I haven't seen anything to convince me that this is anything other than a rumor or someone's misunderstanding and [2] I've recieved two CLIs in the last 6 months while at 6-7/24.

nice, most people seemingly get rejected, wonder if there's the same flexibility in 5/24 for CLIs as some have gotten for promotion offers on the CSP and on business cards while being over 5/24
but really, imo, CLIs on chase cards are pretty pointless, you're just taking away credit line or forcing yourself to recon future approvals for future cards either inks or additional flex/cfu cards

my last couple of CLI requests were denied for
Now I have not had much spend on that card in the past year. That denial is from April 1st. I am at 6/24 and 5/12

I am over 5/24 just barely and I was approved for a CLI on my Rise from reconsideration. The person also told me Chase is still working out the bugs on that applying through the app and I was told it's better to do it over the phone.

I'm sorry but this is a ridiculous statement.

Actually, I understand what @GZG was trying to convey. The complete quote was "but really, imo, CLIs on chase cards are pretty pointless, you're just taking away credit line or forcing yourself to recon future approvals for future cards either inks or additional flex/cfu cards".
I've had personal experience with being denied for a Chase card due to reaching my maximum internal credit limit. I was only able to successfully recon after agreeing to reallocate some of my existing limits towards the new card. @GZG seems to be suggesting that requesting CLIs might result in not getting automatic approvals for future new applications. In my case, the recon was successful but it did require setting aside time to call during business hours when the recon department staff was available.
I just checked and they approved my CLI on my Disney card in January, it was my first CLI and the card had closed 8 statements and keeping util around 7 to 15%. The request was on the app.
I was 4/6, 9/12, and 9/24 with one of those being the inquiry for opening my CSR on Oct 2023.
How long do you have to wait between credit line increase requests?
