Hey all o/
Had a tree fall down in our backyard and take out out fence. We only have to pay $500 for it, but the fence will cost a bit of money. Our neighbor offered to pay for the fence. I'll be building it with my father in-law.
While I was looking at options for paying the fence myself, I checked out the Amex PlanIt thing. It had options to split up the $485 (was testing) charge into 12, 18 or 24 monthly payments with a $3.90~ fee attached each month. I was wondering if it's possible to get a plan that splits a charge into just 3 payments, or if I can pay the PlanIt faster?
Money isn't a huge issue for us, but having that flexibility makes me think of how far I could stretch my money (which I probably shouldn't do lol).
Thanks!

Whichever plan duration you pick, you can always pay more, shortening the duration of the plan.
Your Plan It payment is included in adjusted balance, so pick Other Amount and pay extra.
You can pay ahead. If you have a 12 month plan and pay it off in 3 months, you would only pay the fees for the 3 months.
