I only get paid once a month. Never any more frequently than that.

The OP may need to pay more frequently as a way of managing his finances. Nothing wrong with that.

Correct - I have things I can pay on credit and then pay off and I have EFTs that come right out of my checking account so I have to manage it all very closely to make sure I still have actual cash on hand and not just available credit.

oh wow, i didnt know this, ive always been paid bi weekly and now weekly.  I guess im not use to that.  getting paid 12 times a year seems like a long time.  Nothing wrong with that at all.
