I got a promotion for getting 100 for opening up a chase account and a 3 percent back debit card. Now my question is online when you go to open an account it says you can fund it from another bank or a credit card. If I fund it from a credit card is this seen as like a cash advance or a bad thing to do? My idea was to open one with a rewards car to earn the points and then just PIF but I didnt know if it was a bad idea. Thanks for looking.
