Question about ordering "additional credit cards"

Hi,

My wife just got approved for AMEX blue cash preferred. She ordered an additional card for me. Was my credit report pulled because of this? I am concerned because we had to enter my SSN when we submitted the application. I just don't want more inquiries on my reports (she had none).

My wife got an AMEX last year and added me at that time and nothing was pulled on my report as an AU. However they do report to the CB

I ordered my wife a card for my capital one account, and it now lists on her credit report just like it does on mine.

No hard inquiry, if that's what you mean OP. 

They will probably do a soft on the new AU and that's usually to see if they want to offer the AU a product on their own credit.

In January I put my DW as an AU on new Amex PR Gold.  She was softed on EX and it now reports on her by all CRA's.

In February she received a pre-approval for a Green.
