When my wife and I were rebuilding, we cross AU each other...
Then last few months, our balances went up and to help with individual utilization I have decided to remove each other as AU's...
We put in the request on our CHASE accounts we share and here is what happened...
It now does not report the balances, but reports the credit limit. In essense, our util's went up because it now looks like available credit since there is no balance. Not 0, but blank...
So I checked with CHASE what would it take to completely remove it, and I was told I have to mail a letter requesting complete removal.
But I am not thinkng of leaving it alone since it does not report balances...
What do you guys think?
How did your util go up if there are no balances reporting? It should be the opposite.
Bascially it reports credit limits.... It reports 0 for payment, it reports blank for balance...
