I have my eyes on the Barclay's Arrival MC.
Curious to know what people's credit profiles were when they were approved.
I currently have a 730 TU (from what I hear that is what they pull in CA). One INQ from 12/2011. Three new accounts opened in 06/2013 (two AMEX and one Citi). I keep UTL low (<10%). Looking to app in Oct-Dec 2013.
Thanks in advance for your feedback.
Really? Thanks for that heads up.
I may just do that. AMEX hasn't hit my CR yet. Thinking I want them on there first before I app for Barclay.
AMEX Delta has $9,500 CL, Citi has $6K and WF has $2K. I'm thinking that my CL from Barclay (if approved) would be higher if they see the 9.5K from AMEX.
I was approved for $3000 with a 674 TU and a paid judgement showing (6 percent UTI). I tried to recon to $5k to make it a World MC but they wouldn't budge.
I think you should be good to go.
Good feedback. Pehaps now is the time to app.
Enharu: do you think the fact that my Citi (6K) is reporting new may be a challenge?
As of today oldest account is 10Y 9Mo, AAoA is 3Y 3Mo. I'm an accountant and have good income, very low DTI.
Plus, the 40K bonus is VERY attractive to me. I'm going to Costa Rica in December and can easily make the spending requirement when I pay the balane to the travel co.
I was instantly approved for 5k despite 8 new accounts this year (7 already reported) and 6 INQ on TU but 5 in the last 3 months. I was actually surprised it was instant approval. My utilization is at 6% at time of approval with a small paid utility collection and 2 chargeoffs from 2007 and 2 lates from a student loan back in 2008. My AAoA on TU is about 2.5 years.
