Questions regarding AU effect

Hey guys,

Recently I was approved for Chase Ink for 4000 and BCP for 2,000. My Ficos are reflective in my signature but I think my EX updated to 801 today. Anyway, I've been doing some SP apps and preapproval, namely X1 and Amazon Preapproval and getting declined.

My question is there's  an AU account showing on my credit that has a CL of 62,000 through Chase. Is this hurting me with CLs, especially with Chase? Or is it my EQ that's holding me back although it's frozen, I'm assuming some companies are still SPing it. Should I wait to apply for anything else until my EQ is fixed?

My goal cards right now would be CSP, Ink Business Cash, and Cap One VX or AmEx Plat. I'm just trying to figure out if my AU account is holding me back or my EQ which will be fixed 100% and reflect a similar score as my others in or around September.

Current FICO 8: TU: 814 EX: 774 EQ: 806
Current Cards:
Chase Freedom $800, Chase Ink Unlimited $12,500, American Express BCP: $12,000, Chase Sapphire Preferred $17,100, Blue Business Plus $10,000, Chase Ink Cash $12,00, Capital One Venture X $19,000, Amazon Prime Amex $9,000, Chase Freedom Unlimited $6,000, U.S. Bank Business Triple Cash Rewards $3,000, Amex Hilton Honors Business $17,500
Chase Ink Preferred $16,000
Capital One Savor $7,000

I don't know that the AU account is holding you back unless it has high UTI and/or any derogatory info. The EQ being frozen should eliminate that as being a factor (unless they're trying to pull it, it could be a factor) so if I had to guess I'd say it's more likely your recent approvals are still too new and/or your credit file is too thin/young. I'd keep checking but I'd wait a few more months before trying to add any more new cards as pushing things too fast will risking getting denials, and/or toy limits. Just my 2¢

Right on, my credit history is about 10 years old but I would agree it's rather thin. Due to some nonsense that happened. Only thing showing now is a Freedom that I've had for the longest and an Ollo Card for a 300 limit and a closed Mortgage from years ago. I think I'll let these inqs age a little bit and get the SUBs and just hold off on stuff until EQ is fixed. My only thing is I travel for work and fly somewhat so I was hoping to get a lounge access card with the VX or Plat. I'm going to be in LAX coming up and kinda want to get some sort of lounge access. Oh well if I can't. Next time.
