Quick Question for Amex Experts Charge Cardholders...

BESIDES the Platinum card, which is the next best one? Is it the Green, the Gold, the Gold Plus, or the One? I don't make enough to get that platinum. hehe.

If you have an answer, please share. Thank you.

I'd say the Rewards Plus Gold is the second best charge card, especially if you intend to have an AU.

Re: Quick Question for Amex Experts Charge Cardholders...

Now I have:

Crapital nOne
HSBC Platinum
GE Money LOC
US Bank Platinum
US Bank Premier LOC
Amex Blue Sky
Discover More
Citibank PremierPass
GE Money CareCredit
NEW: Amex Gold Rewards Plus!

I'm going to cancel these in a couple of months...
*CareCredit
*US Bank Platinum
*HSBC Platinum (maybe... they're good to me, but I really don't need this)
*I really want to cancel Capital One but that is my very first credit card. Blah!

Thanks everyone for all your help. I never would've made it to the 700 club if it weren't for Ficonatics!! Smiley Happy

Congratulations! I've already aired mine out on a round-trip plane ticket to Ireland, and I'm looking for more Stuff to use it on. Smiley Happy

Re: Quick Question for Amex Experts Charge Cardholders...

I have the Green card and I like it a lot for some unknown reason. I'm thinking about upgrading to the Gold card, but the fee is pretty high.

Re: Quick Question for Amex Experts Charge Cardholders...

Fee is waived for the first year, and if you want to put on an AU (up to 5), they're free too on the Rewards Plus. I figure AmEx has a year to show me that the fee for next year is worth it!

BTW, if you do, go for the Rewards Plus. A much better deal than the straight Gold Preferred Rewards. I don't know why they even have the straight Gold.

I think it would be better for someone like me who has no intention of having any AUs.
