Quick question on chase 5/24

 I ‘m right at five cards (5/24). If I close my oldest secured card,  thus reducing me to four open cards ,  when I fall into compliance ?

No. The 5/24 rule covers how many accounts you have opened in the past 24 months, not how many you have open
Closing accounts would not help you.
