What would combining limits mean? Would it like cancel a card and put the limit for the canceled one on the one you want to keep? Or would it be just combined limits spread across all cards?
Combining a limit means requesting that the CL of one card be moved to another. The card you are moving the limit from would be closed.

I too got venture just 2 days ago lol. Hopefully they make the quicksilver match the 3k venture at least. Some kind of increase would be appreciated considering it was my everyday card for over a year and i ran at least 20 grand through them maxing out then paying in full multiple times a month. If you ran that kind of money thru it. they will show you lots of love. why did you go for venture one instead of venture? because of AF. because the 1.25 in pultry on the venture one. even with no AF. but 2miles per dollar is outstanding on regular venture. it pays for it self. minimum limit is 5k. your probably would have gotten 10k on regular venture.
In order to justify Venture over VentureOne, you need to push $5200 through the card annually. In order to justify Venture over QS (1.5% back, no AF), you need to push $7800 through it annually. If OP doesn't spend that much on those cards, then Venture wouldn't pay for itself.

Well he stated he pushes 20k thru his cards. So that would be pretty easy. Even for me. I think on the venture. I will drop about. 1500 a month on it. Pretty easy seeing I gothru 800 a month in gas. Hence. Taxi is the name.

Yea. Oh well. Not a big deal. Kinda nice having no annual fee. In time i might get better cards so i won't be using the ventureone as much so not having the annual fee would be useful. If i had the venture I'd have to be making sure i spend alot to offset the AF. So it's not to big of a deal.
Not really because the AF is waived the first year. so no AF yet. but next year for sure. but to be honest. its pretty low. 59 dollars. the bonus is almost 8 times the AF. i think the problem is carrying a balance. which will erase any bonus we earn. so. im not sure i will work my self up to earn that 400 bonus. oops. 40.000 points.
