So Capital One Quicksilver is only offered to "Excellent Credit"
and Quicksilver One to "Average Credit" per their site.
So those of us that got upgraded from the "credit steps" to the Quicksilver for Excellent credit, I think it is strange that the "credit steps" is still attached to the accounts.
When I upgraded asked if it was the QS or the QS1. She said just the regular QS. So then I said, so I am no longer enrolled in the "credt steps"?
Then she said, "oh yes, the credit steps will remain but you got the regular QS because you have excellent credit".
I was just thinking about this and was just wondering if anyone else asked if they were still in the "credit steps" if they got the regular QS.
I wonder, even though we qualify for excellent credit with them now, are they marking our accounts by leaving us in the credit steps, as a former risk?

Did you upgrade from the QS1 to QS? or another Cap1 card? I was hoping to upgrade my QS1 to QS someday so I dont have to get hit with the annual fee
If you are in credit steps when your card is issued you will always be in credit steps with that card even though you are upgraded to no annual fee cards.
