Hey Everyone!
I was just unsecured on my quicksilver, I gave them a $200 deposit and was expecting a higher CL, but it's only $200.
Should I call them?
My score is 713
My payment history on everything is 100%, my utlilization is under 13% on everything.
Chase Sapphire - $10,800
Discover IT - $2,000
I am getting a lot of offers from other credit card companies (citi custom cash,Choice Privilege Mastercard , Synchrony Premier Mastercard, and one of the awesome memebers here sent me a referral to AMEX BCP, my aim is to get higher CL, could gardening help?
Any recommendations friends
Capital One phone reps have no power. Everything Cap One-related is computer-driven.
Your card is bucketed. You'd probably have better luck applying for a new Cap One card given your current score.
Agree, you're unlikely to grow the CL on that card because of where you're bucketed with Cap1.

Honestly, my suggestion would be to look into other cards with similar or better rewards structure with your current profile. But if you want this specific card and to sustain the relationship with Cap One I agree with others, card is unlikely to grow. You'll need to decide whether a triple pull for another QS with a potentially higher CL is worth it.

Looking at OP's sig, he wants to PC it to SavorOne or Venture anyways.
So I say just do a fresh application for a SavorOne.

Thank you for the replies, I am going to garden a bit while I clean house and potentially add a tradeline to age/ season my credit age if I find a person with xp willing
Definintely S1 would be better than QS but I want to get more chase cards first because I'm 3 out of 5/24, I have a pre-approval for Amazon Prime Chase and Freedom Flex, I only want the cards if ther CL will be worth it (5-15k), I may just sit on the sapphire for 6-12 months
my first payment with the sapphire is 1500, which I am paying in full in a few days, show them I'll pay in full each month for 6 months than request a CLI, with a card without 0% APR promo, I always intend to pay in full, hopefully with the Discover, they'll raise it to 3-5k when 6 months hits
babysteps compared to some of the veterans on here : )
I'd suggest the Freedom Flex for now so you can stack points with your CSR and get more out of it.
I previously had a $1,500 limit on my Quicksilver, then C1 gave me a $10,000 line on a new Venture. Eventually they raised my QS to $4,500 without me asking, but the bucketing is real.
Definitely, the flex is great, I just don't want to be starting with a 1,500-2k SL
