Re: Quicksilver fee

The upgrade for the Quciksilver was great advice. The SavorOne is a good card with mild growth. Your QS1 grew significantly by others reported standards. You were offered and upgrade to the Venture, which traditionally shows the best growth amongst the CapOne lineup. I never ''ventured'' for it because I have Chase Sapphire, which has seen almost no use during the pandemic. Too bad CapOne haulted their account combinations or you could pull a fresh Venture app and join the two down the line. They claimed the option never left, but was on hold. That has been 4 or 5 years now. Cheers on the upgrade.

Re: Quicksilver fee

Thanks for the added context. Hope the combining of accounts does come back. I may now consider the Venture card if the new Quicksilver card still seems stalled for growth.

Re: Quicksilver fee

I've have the QSOne for a while and my annual fee was $20/yr with an interest rate of 6% and CL of $8500 (early last year I combined credit limits ($7700) and PCd from their Platinum to QSOne just before they changed the rules). I did manage to score a $800 CL increase a few months ago (first time in like 10 years).  Needless to say my credit profile has significantly improved from way back when I opened the card.

While I don't carry balances, the 6% interest rate is worth keeping but I struggled justifying the AF. Thanks to this post, I PCd again to the regular QS no AF and kept the same limits/rates. Woohoo!  I too was offered both the Venture Cards but turned them down. Appreciate the advice!
