I just received my Chase Sapphire Preferred (I was approved for it on Tuesday, and I expedite it), and i must say she is Beautiful. I almost don't want to use it because i don't want it to get scratched. Haha.
This card is awesome and it assures me that I am heading the right way in my credit journey.

Is it still a metal card? I cant wait to get one myself!!
Yes, it still is. Your name is in the front and the card's number, visa sig logo is on the back.
Very, very nice.
Can you get it in MC version? Not all place accept visa, specially if I want to use it to travel.

True. Yes you can get it in World MC i believe. You can app for it on the MC's website.
I wanted the visa sig, but will convert my Chase Freedom into a World MC in the next few months.
I just got approved last Friday. With the bank/mail holiday on Monday I'm sure I won't receive until next Monday or Tuedsay. Wish I would've know that they would expedite. Can't wait to get the card in the mail!!
Don't worry it will look like crap in no time, it still gets a lot of comments though!
@ryan do you like your AMEX Delta? Been thinking about that one too. I decided on the CSP for travel but use Delta frequently. What do you like about that card?

Lets see, I get the ability to earn MQMs... free checked bag which helps when I travel for work for work... 25$ lounge access... 20% off drinks while in the air... and the most important difference between the gold and platinum is I get a free companion cert on delta each year for my fiance. I live in a pretty small market so all flights are pretty expensive no matter where we are going, this saves me between 600 to 900$ each year.
Plus I like the way the platinum card looks better than the gold.
I was thinking about the gold but you've given me some good insight to the platinum version. Thanks.
