Earlier this month I complained about a Discover CLD. Yea, for about 6 months I carried about 85% util across 5 cards, but I was NEVER late or over the limit on ANY card. Well between ta nice tax season and some work bonus, I was able to pay off just over half of my revoving debt (including completely paying off my $2100 Discover balance) - reducing my util to about 40%. Anyway, they CLDd me from $2300 to $500. After arguing with several CSRs, I just put the card in the sock drawer.
Well, a week or so later after being frustrated for taking a step back with Util as a result of Discovers CLD. I decided to go on a little CLI/app spree -
BoA granted my request and increased my card from $1000 to $2500
AMEX Blue Cash granted my request and increased my card from $3000 to $5000
And I applied for a Blue Sky card and was approved for $4000.
Chase Freedom rejected my CLI request
