Reporting mid cycle

I know with amex green card that whenever something is charged they immediately report it to the credit bureaus. At least for me. So that card is unusable when I am seeking new credit.

Does anyone know if you hadnt used your cards in months then suddenly use it that they will report the new balance to the credit bureaus then start a new statement upon the recent usage?

Does target do that?

I remember when AMEX never reported anything to the CRAs unless you defaulted. Its crazy to immediately report anything but if thats how they wish to waste corporate money then it will be the shareholders who will have to step up to stop it. Walmart may suddenly report especially mid cycle of statement date.

Re: Reporting mid cycle

Credit Karma sometimes gives me updates of something being reported as inactive and then something reported as a new balance that has not had a balance and whatever time it was so yeah anyone is capable of that
