Retail Backed Chase Cards?

How often does Chase grant CLI for there retail cards also is it a hard or a soft pull?

I've had a Chase/ Borders Visa; no CLI yet (open since February) or hint of one. I'm assuming that it's hard, like their straight bank cards.

I think of them more as co-branded cards: the banks name plus a store, gas station, airline, university, sports team, etc.

A true retail card does not have Visa, Mastercard, Discover, or AmEx on it. They're what many people still call "charge cards," although that really refers to cards like American Express Green and Gold, where you are expected to pay in full every month.

Every 6 months... I've never had a hard pull for my Circuit City store card, with the exception of opening the card 12 years ago.

I tried to do a link, but apparently I can't figure it out.  But if you go to chase.com/creditcards there will be a link that says browse more cards.

This will be my first backed Chase card so there new to me.

kohls gives me a 500 cli every 5-6 months. they are chase backed.
