Rewards - Save or Redeem?

I just let them sit there until I want to use them.  They are not really life changing in the whole realm of things. If anything I don't understand cashing out discover because the gift card redemption is a better return than cash anyway.

Generally ASAP.  The rewards don't earn interest sitting there and there's no telling when nerfing (not as relevant to cash back) might come along.  I'll let UR points sit a bit in case I have other uses for them but generally they end up in my MileagePlus account.

If you are only getting 0.1%, that's a problem!  Several 5% options around for up to $5K
