Ritz Carlton reporting

the ritzCarlton card I got about a month ago is now reporting.. But for some reason with equifax it is reporting as a "flexible spending credit card". Ex has the CL right, but TU hasn't weighed in. Will EQ fix itself over time with more reporting? This alert dinged my score 10 points.

EQ - 834 TU - 823 EX - 822
Amex NPSL Amex BCP - 25,000, Amex EDC - 12000, Diner's Club Premier -35,000, Ritz Carlton - 22,500 Discover 25,100, Chase Reserve -31,000 Total Rewards 13200, Barclay 10000 Citi Diamond P 8,900

Re: Ritz Carlton reporting

It is a flexible spending card, it is reporting correctly..  Meaning you can go over your limit by some unknown amount if needed..  The ding is from the new account most likely not the comment.  Your score will recover soon enough.

Re: Ritz Carlton reporting

EX and EQ and TU all report differently:

EX displays the CL on first reporting, then shows utilization percentage with the card, along with open balance in subsequent months.

EQ only shows the open balance, no reference to the CL in these alerts.

TU only shows "All Bankcards" so you won't see the CL in TU or EQ. TU can show "Factors impacting score" due to higher balances, but it never calls out specific accounts.

+1 to "the new account is the -10". It's the price you pay for being at 800 and opening a new CC Smiley Tongue
