Sallie Mae APR question

I'm trying to think back but has anyone had success lowering their APR below the 13.99% (guess it is 14.24% now)?  Planning on calling tomorrow for the APR/CLI routine and was curious if others have had it lowered below their 'lowest' rate.

I think I have seen one or two cases of success on the SM getting lower APR's than the publised lowest APR which you mentioned.  When is the past time you tried?  Believe they will lower it every 6-7 months obviously if you qualify (which you should Smiley Happy )..  Mine is currently at 16.99 started out at 21 or 22.x forgot.  Got it lowered about 4 months ago and call each and every month to try to get it down lower, just to see if I can.  Eventually they will cave again.

This will be my first attempt.  Just passed my 8th statement so I'm lagging behind in trying

That is so epic. You don't normally see such low APRs like that on rewards cards as lucrative as SM.

Re: Sallie Mae APR question

In reading on this board the last couple of months I have seen reductions below the best rate of 13.99% from 1% to about 3%+. Also, that you can call every six months (no guarantees on reduction). Forgot, I called in and no CLI but a 1% Apr reduction to 12.9%.
