Recently I cam accross Sallie Mae credit card.
And to be honest, I was totally WOWed. 5% on gas, grocery and amazon thorughout year. that's like THE BEST.
But when I tried to read more about it, it doesn't seem that others are also WOWed by this credit card.
Can somebody please let me know, what is wrong with this card? (of course they have $250/month limit, but being a student, I would also like to keep my expenditure in that limit and if required I can always apply for another card or use the card I was using before.)
You must not have used the search the board here top of page. If they don't have it it's on the want list.

for an cashback card for gas groceries and amazon for not an lot of spend its one of the best cards around. Especially if you are a student where your expenses shouldn't be that high, its an really good card. I also believe you get free TU 08 fico score with it since its a barclays card. There is an few ways you can get around the low spend, but would require getting another card. You can double up on SM card so your limit for gas and groceries would be 500 for each, or if you have another gas groceries card like boa 3-2-1 or bce, you can use them as back up cards when you go over the 250 limit per month.
I think its the best card for Grocery Target Gas and Amazon
I got approved last week and getting mine soon
I haven't heard about much negatives about this card

People love the SallieMae on here! Like you said, it's one of the best cards you could ask for with its 5% on gas/groceries/amazon. The only knock is the $250 cap, but I've never had a problem with it. And if you are hitting the cap, plenty of people on here have successfully gotten a second SM. Superb card.
Discover says my FICO is 740.
I have 7 active and 3 close credit cards.
Oldest card is some 3 year 2 months old. Average is 1 year 7 months.
No negative remarks but 4 inquiries right now.
What would you say for my chances?

I found a MAJOR flaw with this card. I can't apply for it because I live in Iowa. BOOOO!
