Just a heads-up/reminder that anybody with a Sam's Club MasterCard who has earned a cash back check will be getting a 'Blue Envelope' from Synchrony Bank soon.
This is not to be confused with the dreaded 'Blue Envelope' that we have talked about at length in the past (the ones that request permission to have access to your income tax transcript, and often mean account closure). In this case, the 'Blue Envelope' is a good thing. 
They are sending out emails, but I'm also mentioning it here in case anyone overlooks the message.

This card was one of the better choices made along the way and am completely satisfied with it.

Same here... I actually only got a Sam's Club membership to get the credit card so I would have a 3% card for travel when I was denied for the BoA AAA Visa back in 2015 (I still had baddies reporting). They let me 'squeak' through with a $1.5k approval... it's now $20k.
Once I got the membership, I found that even though I only buy for myself I am still able to justify the membership fee (not even counting the rewards check). I can buy beef tenderloin at Sam's Club just as cheap as I can eat at Arby's, so that alone makes it worth the $45/year fee ($35/year after you consider the $10 GC upon renewal courtesy of Discover Card).
No complaints here, either.
Thank you for the heads up on the blue envelope, UncleB. You most likely saved quite a few myfico members from having a heart attack when they noticed a "blue" envelope in their mailbox!
If i get one im closing my Sams account
