Sam's Club Shows Me Luv Today

HI,

Congrats on you CLI. 

I have had my Sams card for 14 mo. It is a $500 limit. I use it alot & pay it off in full most of the time. After my first year I got a nice letter & a offer of a discover/sams card. I didn't take that offer.

After reading your post I went to my account online. I don't have a luv button!? There is a "credit increase" button. Is that what you all use? And, if I try it that way will they do an inquiry?

I'm just a little puzzled why they havent just increased my limit. My scores are decent.. 

Any tips?

Luv button is the nick name for Credit Limit Increase. With you scores i'm pretty sure if your hit the button you should get a healthy increase. You should also still qualify for the Sam's Discover if you don't have any baddies on your credit report.

I dont really want the discover as I had a charge off with them in 1998. Come to think of it I had one with Sams around the same time!

UPDATE:

I went back & "hit the button" and doubled my limit to $1000! 

I love this fico site.. It's worth it's weight in gold!

I do shop there a lot my mom works there but they also have good produce that my DW likes.
