Welcome to the forums, zippy66!

Sometimes the numbers match each other, most times they don't.

Just a fluke.  Don't worry about it!

It happens, but it's really rare.

It's similar to how your newspaper horoscope actually matches your real life once in a blue moon. Interesting, but coincidental! Smiley Very Happy

Re: Same fico score on both t.u and eq.

I once had the same exact FICO score from both TU and EQ for two solid months Dec 08 and Jan 09 until the beginning of Feb 09. I pulled my score a minimum of 3 times per month each month for four months ( all three bureaus ), beginning Nov 08 thru Feb 09 to know this. The score for both was was FICO 793.

I did this during an application plan I executed to know exactly what happened each time I took a particular action. It was a bit excessive, but I learned a great deal with respect to actions I take which affect my own credit profile thereby changing my credit score.

Ah, the old self-experimentation bit.

It's official.  You're addicted.

Re: Same fico score on both t.u and eq.

Well..I felt I had 33 FICO points I could loose not to go below FICO 760. I applied for various CCs and a Corvette loan knowing I had these "extra" points. I wanted to be certain I did not go below that base FICO High Acheiver number FICO 760. The scores did not, but I pushed it to the limit. Now my scores are recovered to EQ 784 and TU 794.
ETA: I have zero store or gas cards.
